There are several ways to make your blog popular but the easiest is to make your blog appear on search engines, like Google and Bing. To do this, you have to go to the blog settings and click "yes" on the 'Let search engines find your blog?'. This will allow search engines to display your website. Doing this alone is not enough. Here are some other things you can do to make your blog appear on search engines:
- If you have other blogs or know people who have websites, put a link to your website on the other websites. This helps because Google does not only search by keywords but also searches by how many websites contain links to your website, and so if more websites contain links to your website, you have a better chance of appearing on Google.
- Also, you have to know what the most popular searches on Google are and write about those. You're sure to get some hits.
- If you do get many hits, you might want to consider Google Adsense to make some money.
- Comment on other people's blog post. Make sure your comment is witty or funny. If it is, the person whose blog you are commenting on may check out your blog.
